The Engagement Process

Every advisory engagement begins with a private one-on-one discussion.

During this session, Alfred Yew will take the time to understand:

• Your background and current circumstances

• The important decision, challenge, or opportunity you are facing

• Your objectives, concerns, and priorities

• Relevant information surrounding your situation

This session typically takes approximately one hour and provides the foundation for the advisory process.

The purpose of this session is not to provide immediate conclusions, but to develop a thorough understanding of your situation before conducting further analysis.

Step 1 — Initial Discovery Session

Following the Initial Discovery Session, Fred Fuchen Yew will conduct a deeper strategic analysis of your situation.

This stage involves careful evaluation, reflection, and analysis based on the information gathered during the first session.

Depending on the nature of the engagement, Aitomax Consulting may incorporate different strategic analysis methodologies, including traditional frameworks such as Qi Men Dun Jia and Zi Wei Dou Shu, where appropriate.

The purpose of this stage is to identify meaningful observations, possible considerations, and strategic directions relevant to your circumstances.

This analytical process typically takes approximately one week.

Step 2 — Strategic Analysis

Once the analysis has been completed, a second consultation session will be arranged.

You may choose to meet:

• At the Aitomax Consulting office

• Through Zoom

• By telephone

During this session, Fred Fuchen Yew will share:

• Key observations from the analysis

• Strategic perspectives and considerations

• Possible options and directions

• Recommendations based on your situation

• Practical thoughts for moving forward

This session provides an opportunity for deeper discussion, clarification, and reflection.

Many clients prefer to meet in person, as it allows for a more meaningful exchange and discussion.

Step 3 — Advisory Discussion Session

Following the Advisory Discussion Session, you will receive personalized consultation notes summarizing:

• Key observations

• Important considerations

• Recommendations discussed during the engagement

These notes are intended to serve as a practical reference for your future consideration and implementation.

Step 4 — Personalized Consultation Notes

Each Private Strategic Advisory Engagement includes six months of follow-up support relating to the original consultation.

During this period, clients may seek clarification and discuss the implementation of the recommendations as their situation develops.

For new matters or topics outside the scope of the original engagement, a separate advisory engagement may be recommended.
